Hey guys, I'm currently on the 1.83 Macbook without anything upgraded. I love the thing, just that I want to upgrade.........

Now it will void my warranty, but is there a way that they won't know that I opened it up? I mean, before I send it in I will swap all the original things etc. etc.

Is it the same thing, if I buy apple care? sorry, new to apple.

Neither upgrading the memory nor upgrading the hard drive will void your warranty.

Nope neither would void the warranty. Apple made it quite easy for us to upgrade both RAM and HDD but generally I suppose it's better to take precautions by putting original RAM in if you've got probs...just in case but I'm pretty sure it does not void warranty at all for these two upgrades.
