Hello im thinking of purchasing a Top of the line MacBook Pro, that intel chipset one.

Anywho i was wondering how well does it actually compare to running the programs on windows.

Say i have fruityloops (mainly the application im interested in running on the macbook pro)
and say i can run 20 channels on the windows PC.
will i be able to run the same amount or more or would the performance drop significantly.

ALL in ALL i want to know how well are Windows programs ran on the MacBook Pro INTEL, On Par, Better then Windows, Slightly Worse?

Thank You

-PS. Sorry for the confusing post cant get my words straight on what i want to say really lol.

When you run Windows via BootCamp on an Intel Mac, it's running natively. The hardware in the MacBook Pro makes it a pretty nice Windows laptop. You can expect similar performance as you'd get from a similar Core Duo laptop intended for Windows.

Instead of FruityLoops, Try the built in Apple program "GarageBand" They are very similar if you're not trying anything too complex...
