There should be some Verizon phones that you can use as EVDO modems by hooking them up via a USB cable to your MacBook, if that helps any...

Most probably not due to lack of drivers for OS X however there is an express card slot in the MacBook Pro and it should work in Windows.

Dell Wireless 5700 ExpressCard-Will it Work w/ Macbook Pro???

Unfortunately tests have been done with this specific card and our findings are that when Booting up with BootCamp and running a Windows XP machine in BootCamp, the VZ Access Manager will NOT see the card and function normaly. You have to use Dell's software. You can see the full review at:

There Is No Expresscard Slot On The Macbook.

Perhaps in a MacBook Pro, considering 3G PC cards worked in PowerBooks without drivers ok
