I've had my PB G4 1.67 for a while now, but I am noticing the "dingy" screen in comparison to my new iMac Core Duo. The iMac has a bright white color, and the PB almost looks like it leans towards a yellow shade. It has always been like this, so I have just lived with it, since it was just like any of the other machines I saw.
I know the new machines have brighter screens, but surely there is a better color profile that someone is using. When I try and run a calibration, I can't even really tell a difference. Even my old iBook G3/900 has a brighter, whiter screen, and that thing is over 3 years old.
Any ideas?
P.S. I noticed some people have issues with the brightness changing due to fast user switching, but I am the only user on my computer, and I don't have any other users setup.
