Okay after some brief searching I can't find any answer on this. I have a 12" PB with a 1.5 PPC. I recently installed the OSX update to 10.4.7. Since that update the fan runs all the time, and the computer is hotter than it ever has been (owned it for a year now). Everything else seems to work fine. Does anyone have any idea on this? It is rather frustrating to have this thing run so hot, not to mention the battery drain with the fan on full time (battery life is about half the time it was previously), as well as having to listen to the fan run. Please help.

Are you ensuring that there is adequate airflow (i.e.3-4 cm) below your computer? Having that space below the computer will aid in overall cooling.

Argh... this is exactly what i experienced... to make matters worse as a result (I think) I have seen my batttery capacity drop from 70% to 26% in a mattter of a couple of months...
Anyone else experience this?
