I don't know if this is the right place to post this, but I thought it was a great deal... http://www.macconnection.com/home

It's the 1.8ghz model instead of the 2ghz model, but I think it is a rockin price. After rebate of course.

Anyway, just thought I'd share the link if anyone was interested.

Oh, and it comes with a free carrying case.

I have a 2.0ghz MBP for sale with the 3-Year applecare and a sleeve! If you subtract the costs of those, my MBP comes out around the same price. Check the Marketplace!

Mods: Im sorrry if advertising here is against the rules. Let me know and I will delete it.

You're waiting for the new core 2 macbooks? What a coincidence, I'm waiting for a decent, reliable macbook!!
I miss the days of the G5 and XPS Pentium 4 running side by side as high-end machines.

i just dont understand the whole logic behind "IM WAITING FOR CORE DUO 2 TO COME OUT BLAH BLAH" i bet my macbook pro that while it will be improved in some areas new issues will arise.
plus waiting for them to come out just to be on par with technology will only last a shift.
core duo is good is fast very updated heat issue on any laptop will always be an ISSUE.

anyways regarding the price is not bad i saw a couple of macbook pros on ebay for like 1400-1500
