if i run an ext. monitor with the pb...
can i place it above the pb screen?
if i do, how does the mouse move from one screen to the other,
ie left-to-right, or can i make it go up & down...?
hope this question is, um, well-asked...
trying to setup a desk where space is available above my powerbook,
wanting to use both screens...

When you hook up an external monitor, just drag them around in the monitors system preference pane to arrange them any way you like.
Drag the menu bar to what is to become your main monitor to have the menu bar and Dock automatically appear there as soon as you connect the monitor.

yes, but...
moving the cursor from one screen to the other, is that solely a left-right function?
can i move it up, from the powerbook screen, and have it come from the bottom of the ext. monitor??

Liquid nitrogen. Just make sure you don't start to superconduct.
