Well, I'm not sure, but I thought I'd ask. Is there anywhere on the MacBook 13in that one of those cable locks can be hooked up to it so it can be secured in a dorm room when I am not there? I have turned the MacBook all around, but don't see any plug in area for one...am I just missing it?

I dont have my macbook with me, but yes, i know there is one. I believe it is on the side with all the ports and is closest to the keypad side of the computer. Hope this helps.

So it's the sort of oval/square slot, to the right of the headphones plug? Lol, and if it is, thanks, I wasn't really sure what kind of plug I was looking for.

I bet if you look at page 78 of the manual that came with your MacBook, you would have found the answer there.

Yup. The oval hole. You can get one of those locks which expand in the oval. Kensington makes one:

No worries....wish I did not know about these. In San Francisco, we have had a rash of laptop thefts at Wi-Fi enabled coffee shops. Some of the thefts have been pretty violent. Sad...
