How to select an external FW camera for iChat on a MBP

Has anyone figured out how to select an external FW camera as the video feed for iChat on a Mac Book Pro?

On my machine, when the lid is closed, iChat just automatically selects my external iSight.
I don't actually configure it to do anything... just works.
