I am still thinking whether I should get a new iMac or MacBook Pro? I understand a new 15 inch is due out soon. What about the 17 Inch, how current is the 17 Inch, I mean when was it released?

It was out a couple weeks after the 15" was out. So it is very "current", but it is due an upgrade to Core2 chips which is expected to be in anytime now. They'll most definately upgrade both the 15 and the 17 inchers together this time.. Same for the iMac too!
