Is there a way to anti-alias 3d software ?

I have programs like Blender and maya I have never been able to anti alias the lines in the 3d views but I am told that that is a CG cards job.. So I have the mbp Chipset Model: ATY,RadeonX1600
but I don't see anywhere on how to turn such a feature on
