Hi, I just put together a powerbook 1.33 12 inch laptop and with this motherboard I bought off of ebay, everything works except for dvi out. When I plug it in, it recognizes the second lcd, but the second lcd says its out of sync and blinks fuzzy images that don't resemble much of anything. I hope this isn't a hardware problem, but I tested out a previous motherboard (1 ghz dvi) and i had the exact same problem! am i doing something wrong in my install possibly? forgetting to connect some wire or something somewhere? the mini dvi cable is fine cuz i tested it out on my dad's powerbook 1.5 ghz 12 inch. I checked the horizontal timings and vertical timings and everything seems fine (with displayconfigx) but i cant fix it. Does anyone have any suggestions? Sorry if I've been posting a lot. Building my own laptop seemed like a good idea at first, but I've run into so many problems that I'll probably never do this again .
no I haven't tried another mini dvi out cable, but I tried the same cable in a different machine (powerbook 1.5 GHz also 12") and it worked, so I assumed it wasn't the cable
