So I sent in my mbp last Wed, but Apple's site is still showing that it's "service request pending." The box got to my place in less than 24 hrs, so is it that they don't update the service frequently enough?

I'm sure with the number of service repairs that they do, they can't keep up with status changes that frequently.

Last Wednesday? Do you know what they were going to fix on it? I would definitely call. When my PowerBook had its logic board replaced, it was in their hands for literally 3 hours--I got it back 2 days after I sent it in. And I definitely remember the service status being updated at some point in there.

I had them look at quite a few things actually. I hope I get it back Fri, latest. I really miss it a lot and feel extremely foreign using someone else's computer.

I think they're replacing the main logic board, right fan assembly, latch, and possibly the trackpad as well. I'm guessing that takes a bit longer than just the usual mlb replacement. But just wanted to see how frequent they updated the status. I have a overly obsessive compulsive love for my mbp lol.
