So ive owned my macbook for over a couple of months now and want to make use of the extra juice Ive got. My only question is that will running the CPU 24/7 + Fan cause the fan to die early? If the fan dies and my CPU ends of getting burnt, will the warranty cover it? Whats the approx life of the macbook fan?

i would seriously consider not using your laptop to run such a processor intensive program 24/7. sure you could get away with it, but the more heat you produce, the hotter it'll get and the more the fans will have to run full blast. both of these (heat and more mechanical movement) will invariably increase the likelihood of a failure. just MHO.

but would a warranty cover this failure? Whats the point of buying such a powerful machine if you hardly use it?
