Hi

If I surf and domloades some small size. I get 76 degrees accoting to Coreduo Temp.

Can I get a new MCB based on warranty?
Whine is almos t nonexusrant.

um, 76 degrees F is not hot at all.... so im assuming it is 76 degrees Celcius. in that case it is rather hot. water boils at 100C and your pc is 3/4 of the way there!

have you called apple tech support? im sure they will give you a definitive answer for this... and it also depends on when you bought the machine. there have been cases about the overheating and it is a known issue so you may want to even take it to a apple service provider. so then you can get a technicians opinion.

I think it is worth checking out... i would if i were in your shoes.

Hm, I think I was too tired when I wrote that.
The 76 degress is when it is more or less idle, just surfing.
If I run two windows with the commands mentioned here in the forums
I reach 86 degrees...
