Long story short I bought a powerbook 17 with the 1 gig g4 when they first came out. I bought apple care. A year and a half later they replaced it with a new one cause the repair was taking too long and they couldn't get the parts they needed. The replacement 1.67 (lower rez screen) had problems and guess what? They gave me a new one again. So now I have a brand new mac book pro 17.

My question is I just recieved it and I am on the fence about selling it and waiting for the new revisions to come out. On the flip side, this whole competing with PCs and expecting a merom chip seems to be crazy. I mean apple works on their time, why would they care if PCs have a merom chip. PC use windows, it shouldn't make any difference if youre an apple user because they are different systems altogether.

Anyway I just wanted some feedback as to wether I should open this bad boy up or sell it and wait. HELLLLP!!!!!!!!!!!!
