One thing that makes me mad is that people keep bumping into my power supplier cord. I'm concerned that it can couse damage to the dc-in board or the power supplier itself.

So, I was thinking that perhaps I could change the original powerbook 12" Al 1.33 dc-in board for the magsafe one.

Does anyone knows if it is possible? Wich one is better?

Thanks.

im sure its 'possible' but not probable...for one the ac plug is circle and the magsafe connector is rectangular so you'd have to mod the case just to get it to fit.
NOW YOU SEE ME! 2.4 MBP and 2.0 MBP (running ubuntu)

What you need is an INLINE mag adapter. It would be two pieces: One that plugs into your standard powerbook jack, and the other, the female end, would plug into the power supply plug.

The two ends would magnetically attach to each other.

If someone trips on the cord, it would separate, but not take down your powerbook.

Design it, patent it, and send me half for the idea.
