Hello everyone

I've been dreaming of the new macbook for quite a while now and scince tehre available at a reduced price at my new college I'll definately buy one in the following week.
Now I've been looking around on the net, and I've seen some videos of people smacking there macbook pro, such as this one: YouTube - Smacking MacBook Pro
However I'm wondering if the standard macbook can do this trick to.

And another small question;
a few months ago I heared about apples bootcamp, now this comes in really handy for me scince I'll need to run a windows on it to for school purpose...
However in the beginning it had some bugs making the macbook crash etc.
Are tehre still a lot of dificulties with it for the moment, and will it be hard for a first time mac user to install this?

Thanks in advance

Yes, the standard MacBook can by "smaked" too. As for bootcamp, it is still beta, but works pretty well and it quite easy to install. You shouldn't have any problem to install it.

You might be interested in Parallels Desktop too which allows you to run Mac OS X and Windows side by side (as opposed to Boot Camp which requires a restart each time you want to use a different system).

If you want to smack the Macbook, you have to use Parallels. Bootcamp requires rebooting.

Ask about Boot Camp in the Alternative Operating Systems forum-that's what it's there for.

This "smacking" thing is interesting, but I am curious about some things about it. I take it this is not a "standard feature" but rather something you can do to enable a standard feature. Being unfamiliar with Tiger (and still waiting for my MacBook Pro ), what feature is it you're using that changes workspaces?

VirtueDesktops is a workspace manager which allows "smaking" by using the sudden motion sensor of the MacBooks.
