This is the first time I've had a quality issue with a Mac. My MBP has paint flaking off under the left command key. I would attach a picture but I don't know how and I'm too lazy to try to figure it out.

Has anyone else seen this issue and have a possible resolution?

I thought that MBPs weren't painted. They have a clear coating though, correct?

Okay, paint is not the correct word. It's the coating on the lip just below the bottom row of keys on the keyboard. If someone can tell me how to post a picture, I will.

You use a site like photobucket or imageshack to upload and host your image, then you use an img tag.

I have the same thing on my PowerBook G4. I bet that piece of beveled metal is still painted on the MacBooks.

I too have exactly the same problem, under the left command key, just like the photo. I recently sent in the computer to have the whine fixed and attached a note regarding the peeling paint. The problem was not fixed, nor even acknowledged.
