My PowerBook G4 using OS X.4 has the "blue sreen". I ran disc tools and did fsck, according to Apple's website, and still no luck. DiskWarrior was next. It reported the disc is too severely damaged code 2155/2179. What would be the best way to attack this problem? I can start it up as a "target disc" using Firewire to my G4 tower. I really would like to back up all my files if not all the settings before wiping out the hard drive. Is this at all possible? Any help would be appreciated.

For a start, backup what is most important before you lose the lot. If you can, after you've backed up the essential files, Carbon Copy Clone your drive to an external drive. If your hard drive is physically failing, relpace the drive and just clone your backup back to the drive.
