Im trying to target mode from the new MacBook to the G4dual which has 4 HD's Id like all to appear on the MacBook to move stuff over but only one shows up: the boot HD. its also the one at the top of the G4dual don't know how thyat makes a difference but any way

is there a way to see all 4 HD from the G4dual on the MacBook?

as far as i know only the G5 will show more than one drive one in target mode.

why don't you target the other way around and use the G4 with the MacBook in Target mode.

actually somehow it will target all the drives, I did that somehow but not anymore

I can't target from the g4 to the MacBook as the macbook HD is formatted for the Intel chip

wish I could rememger how it did that. i might have been Tmode G4 to G4

when i had a clamshell ibook, i could target to it from my ibook g4 and see it's optical drive, and all partitions on the internal HD...don't know if that has anything to do with it, but I could see mulitple "drives" not just one...
