Hi fellow MacNNers,

So I am working on my 15" PowerBook G4 1.5ghz using programs such as the Adobe CS2, and all of a sudden, my notebook would just go to sleep temporarily, and then would awaken again shortly after. At first I thought it was a hard drive error because I checked the status of the disk, and it said it had some errors that needed to be fixed.

So then I reformatted my PowerBook, verified the drive, and everything seem to work fine afterwards. But now, it appears to be happening again.

Any idea on what might be causing this?

Thank you all in advance.

Ok, so I've read a couple information today and noticed that it could be a fan issue, or something about a magnet triggering the sleep function is not in place. Any thoughts?

Thanks.
