ApplePeelz is like Invisible Shield but does not provide lifetiime guarantee though it's cheaper and allows a bit more flexibility in ordering the pieces to your liking.
I ordered the wrist and trackpad guard pieces which obviously cover the whole palm rest area, trackpad, and button. Cost 25 shipped.
The instructions on the site are quite detailed. But I kept it simple. Used the tray, filled it w/ about 1/4" of tab water and a swirl of dish wash detergent. Peeled the pieces and, wetted them and applied. It was quite simple. For perfect alignment, make sure you do this in a brightly lite area.
The surface is pretty smooth, but does provide a significant amount of anti-slip w/ the slightest amount of moisture from your palms. This could be good and bad depending how you like it.
What I found useless was the trackpad piece. It makes the surface almost impossible to use due to the semi anti-slip surface. I ended up fabricating a piece of clear self-adhesive vinyl and worked much better.
As you would of expected, it does provide a glossy reflective surface. I didn't do a perfect job on mine, you can see some dark areas and those are small air bubbles which I would have to eliminate when I redo it.
It does not interferre w/ the lid closing.
Fitment is near perfect.
All in all, it's a pretty good piece of protective gear to have if you wanna really take care of ur baby. I wish the surface was a bit more slippery, but it's bareable. And the fact that it doesn't provide lifetime warranty like Invisible Shield might say something about its durability. But time will tell.

This stuff i used for the trackpad and worked great. Good for good covers too. Doesn't reduce sensitivity or accuracy.
