I have 2 19" lcd displays that I am currently using with a windows box. I would like
to hook up a macmini AND a powerbook 12" to the setup, using KVM.
I would like to use extended desktop and not mirroring to do this, for each
machine.

Is this possible ? How do I do this?

If I replace the powerbook by a macbook pro (which I intend to do soon),
will I be able to do this then ?

Thanks!

im confused as to what you want to do. both powerbook and mbp can only drive one external monitor alongside its internal lcd.
NOW YOU SEE ME! 2.4 MBP and 2.0 MBP (running ubuntu)

Sorry for not being clear. What I want to do is to drive 2 external monitors
with the powerbook closed. However the powerbook has only one dvi out.

I want to do the same with the mac mini.

The whole thing should be controlled by a kvm, connected to the 2 monitors
and a keyboard/mouse.

Sorry, you can't do that. You can only hook up as many monitors as you have DVI connections.

The 12" Powerbook doesn't have an ExpressCard slot.
