Hi Guys,

I have been experiencing many kernel panics with my iBook G4 12''. I discovered that if I _do not_ turn on my Airport, the kernel panics do not come.

What do you guys think I should do? Should I buy a new Airport Extreme card -- would that solve the problem? Or is there something more than just the Airport Extreme card?

Thanks

Reseat the card including reseating the antenna connection. If it still KPs, you could have a bad card.

Thanks for that.

The problem is that I've been using my iBook for a year now. I doubt the card could have shifted? I will try that anyways.

Any more ideas guys?

Of course it could shift! It's just in a connector. Any minor bump could have loosened the connection.
