I just got my macbook today! Yay!
(unfortunately I have a huge exam on friday and I dare not open it until then!)

Anyway my question is, as many of you are also waiting for news about the merom chip, i am frequently checking the apple store for news.. I think I noticed that it says ILIFE included with all macbooks, but I don't remember that being there before?

I looked in the software page and Ilife is a $70 software. Is this something that is included with all macbooks or is this something that was recently added?

Oh and for speculation sake, think that after sept 16 - the date the ipod+macbook/ibook promo ends, would be likely to see the merom introduced to the macbook?
I ask b/c i have an unopened macbook and unopened ipod. i would have to cut off the UPCs and open them up, only to later try to exchange it.. any thoughts?

iLife has been included with every new Mac for years.
