I have a buddy looking to sell a one-year-old 15" G4 Macbook (1.5GHz and 1 GB of RAM) Any ideas as to what it might be worth? I really know nothing about laptops. Thanks.

That's a PowerBook, not a MacBook.

Check completed auctions on eBay with the same cpu/memory/drive configuration.

I Japan these sell for about 1.4k US-$ at second hand stores (U-Mac, Sofmap). These stores would buy at about 60% of what they sell, so I'd estimate that you'd getabout 900$ - 1k$-US here on the spot.
