I have an iBook SE G3 366mhz that was having display problems. I was getting blurred lines and fuzzy screen unless I had the lid 80% closed. But it still worked. Well, I purchased a new display and installed it last night. Now, I get no start up tone and a black screen. I do hear the hard drive whir, but nothing else.

Any suggestions?? Is it my logic board???

Is my pride and joy toast???

Well I have only ever taken one laptop apart for an Inverter replacement, but I have never opened up a Clamshell before. One thing I do know is everything must be placed back very carefully! Are you sure there are no cables being pinched, or perhaps became disconnected during the the closing it up procedure? All grounding wires attached?

Here are pics of my old HP apart for the repair.
