This is my problem: I am trying to watch some video on youtube or google video, and it says this:
There was an error connecting to your headset. Make sure it is turned on and in range. The audio portion of the program you were using may have to be restarted.
. I would put this in the peripherals section, but I am not trying to use a bluetoothe peripheral. I am just trying to use the built in speakers. I have bluetooth off, too.

EDIT: I did try to restart a while ago, and it didnt help.

No problem here...When you go to Sound Preferences -> Output what devices are listed? I just have "Internal Speakers".
MacBook 2.0 160/2GB/SuperDrive
Lots of older Macs

I looked there and it just says internal speakers. I can play audio from other apps, just not safari and firefox. Like I said, bluetooth is off.

is thee a way to have the bluetooth in the macbook broadcat a radio signal like the ipod adapter in cars? Can you do it without the airport express? It seems that if you can broadcast from the macbook to airport express then why couldn't you broadcast an FM signal that your stereo could pick up?

umm, no you cant. They are on different frequencies. wifi(airport express) operates at 2.4 ghz. radio is about at 85-105 mhz.

Not the airport, what about the frequency that bluetooth operates at? Is that incompatible as well?
