Hello everyone,
Just an odd thing here. My battery life seems to be fine, but this morning I noticed that on the bottom of my macbook the battery lights that show the amount of charge for the battery aren't lighting up anymore. Even if I press the button on the battery they don't light up. Has anyone seen this before? This is regardless of whether or not the Macbook is plugged in or not.
NEW: Macbook 1.83Ghz

Does the battery still load when you plug it in.

What does the menu bar battery symbol say?

Like I said I still have the normal power. For instance right now I am at 99% and it said 4:20 till loss of power. I think the battery itself is working, but the readout on the actual battery (the lights) aren't lighting up even if I hit the button.

This happend to me on my 12 inch powerbook G4. Since I noticed it early, I called applecare and they said they would replace it... but that was after convincing them something was actually wrong with it. Everything about the battery worked but the lights when i pushed the button, they worked when it was charging and that was it. So if you can call apple and convince them that something is wrong I am sure they will send you a new one if those lights really matter to you.
