Hi!
I while a go I bought a white 2 GHz Macbook (I'm all new to Mac). To check if everything worked (I've heard the stories) I inserted an empty DVD and tried to burn some files with Toast 7. When the burning process was almost complete there was an error (don't remember what it was but some hardware error...). My mac crashed and I had to shut it off with the power button. Now I can't play any media in the superdrive. I've tried several CDs and DVDs (empty, burned and bought), but none of them work (the OS X install CDs don't work either). When I insert a disk it spins for a while and then the disk is ejected or just stay in the computer (but it won't show up in Finder). I don't know if this problem is related to the burn error or if the drive hasn't worked at all...

The Macbook's serial number is 4H630xxxxx and the superdrive is a Matshita DVD-R UJ-857.

What should I do to fix the problem? Any "reset-thingy"? Or should I call Apple care?

Apple is replacing the drive, just take it to any certified dealer and they will look at it, if it is broken they order the part. You dont even have to leave your mac there. Pretty good warranty so far.
