Whether the MacBooks get C2D very soon or not for a while, does anything think the prices of the MacBooks will go up at all? I hope they stay the same, or if God likes me, maybe they'll go down

I really don't think they would go up. Either stay the same, or more likely, small price drop ($999 for the base model).

a price drop would be great, especially when the new processors are faster!

I'm with pat++...if any change at all, dropping the base model back to $999, but I'm not expecting any change in pricing.
