I already own a MacBook, but I wanted to get this forums opinion on where you all think is the best place to get a Macbook and why

Here's my 2cts:

Apple Store with Education Discount - I got it at the apple store online so I could get the education discount.

Other places I considered were MacMall since they were offering a free Ram upgrade . . . .
I am part of Lakers Nation and love to buy Used Golf Clubs

fry's had them here in houston for $1,099 (white) and $1,299 (black) ... that is the best blackbook price i've seen (even from apple store refurbished and/or student/faculty/staff discount).

No way buy it from the apple store ONLINE... You save 10% on the macbook, ram (which i recommend you upgrade to 1 GB, and hard drive). You should also get the extended warranty.

I need a cheap laptop to haul around. I think I'll find a good clearance deal with the next update comes out unless it offers anything really compelling. Cheap and good battery life are my main 2 concerns (and hopefully no random shutdown crap that has been plaguing some of them).
To be determined later.
