Is this an old mac laptop?

Looking for a laptop that my computer illiterate mother could use to surf with and recieve email. Needs airport card to be wilreless.

Don't trust getting her a Windows laptop. Too many issues from day to day.

It's probably an iBook G3 700mhz. It was released in November 2002. It's a pretty capable machine. Just make sure you add memory (512mb + 128 built in) if you want to run Mac OS X properly. Should be fine for web and email. You can add an optional airport card (look on eBay) if it doesn't have it yet.
