Hi all,

I have a 12" Powerbook 1.5Ghz with 512Mb ram and am thinking of adding some extra RAM, possibly 1 Gig. What kind of difference would it make to the laptop?

A lot, espically if you're running Tiger and/or lots of apps at the same time.

The more RAM, the merrier. Big diff when I put 1 GB RAM in my 1.33 12". So, if you've got the wherewithal, do it.

If you're planning on upgrading to a MB or MBP soon, that's a different decision.

agreed, all above.

512 is the bare minimum these days for os x...
i added 1g to my own 12" 1.33 pb, and huge difference.
