Hi,

Does anyone know whether Ti Powerbook G4 1G can recognize a 160 G or 120 G Segate hard disk? Are there a noticeble differences in noise and and speed of 5400 rpm and 7200 prm? Thanks.

As long as the drive is ATA (as opposed to SATA), then it will work just fine.

Also, both drives run "whisper quiet."

Just remember: the faster it spins, the hotter it gets; the hotter it gets, the more frequently the fans turn on.
