my eject key is crooked and i would like to remove it and try to get it on straight, how do you remove the keys. i did some searching and everyone says to slide something underneath the side and pull upwards, but that doesn't seem to do anything. it pulls up to like 45 degrees and feels like its about to break. what am i doing wrong?

It's going to feel like it's going to break. Just lift it up from the side and carefully keep lifting. It will pop off of the scissors. Just push back down straight to pop it back on. Chances are that if it is severely crooked, the scissors may already be broken. If that's the case, you'll need to find a replacement.
