help!

my gf is leaving for china in a day. her assistant bought her dvd+r (16x) blanks for her to copy her films on (she's going to lecture there).

they dont seem to work; will the superdrive in her 'book work with these?
or is there a way to get them to?

What kind of a 'book is it?
Google (type of laptop) + superdrive or something to see if burning DVD+R is supported. If not, you may need to grab some DVD-R disks.
Does it give any kind of error when you try to burn/insert them?
Very small possiblity that DVD+Rs from a different manufacter would work as well.
Cheers.

go to the apple system profiler (about this mac, then more info) Click on disc burning, it lists the kinds of dvds that are burnable on that PB.

In general, DVD-R are more compatible with more home DVD-players.

TDK seem to have better quality control.

ah well...
all my research led me to understand this revision of the alubook will NOT burn +r's...

so got a stack of -r's, and am back in business..
