Is it possible to take a iBook G4 with a Combo Drive, put it into TDM, and make a CD-R(W) and/or a DVD-(+)R(W) appear on your MacBook?

It shows up as a removable disk, not a CD. When you hit eject on the iBook or MacBook keyboard it will not eject, but when you drag it into the trash (to eject it) it will eject from the Combo drive in the iBook.
