I am using an ordinary PC keyboard for my Macbook when I'm using it at home. I use the "Modifier keys..." option to switch over the Option (alt) key and the command key because of the layout of the PC keyboard. Whenever I'm taking my Macbook with me, I unplug the external keyboard and have to set the keys back to default. So my question is: is there a way to have Mac automatically swtich between these two MODES without having me set the Modifier Key options each time? Thanks.

Is it really that difficult to switch between the layout of two keys without changing the modifiers? I regularly switch between my Powerbook keyboard and an external PC keyboard with no problems.
