My iBook G4 unexpecedly quit tonight while I was surfing the web. All of a sudden my screen locked and I got this meesage:

I held down the power button and it restarted fine. I don't understand the error report though to know why it happened.

Thats a kernel panic.

Check out this thread for more info.

My MacBook did this a day ago. I installed a app that messed with the system and made it panic. I wonder if 10.4.8 has a bug in it?

thanks. i hate "wait for it to happen again" though! I install and uninstall like a mad woman because I like to try new apps. Do you know of a good mac cleaning tool out there?
