I have a 17inch MBP with 2.0 GB of RAM. When I start it up and do nothing but open I stat pro in the widgets (only one other widget is on my dashboard, weather) I only have 1.32 GB available. Over 500 MBs are "inactive". Why is this? It used to be (two weeks ago) that I would have 1.72 GB available at start up. Is something wrong?

thanks for any feedback!
