Hi MBP people,
After numerous problems with macbooks, I have had 3 repairs, and a replacement machine that has come down with the same problem, Apple is replacing my machine with the basic MBP. I know that originally the MBP's have had problems, I was wondering if they have straightened most of those out by now. Apple will be sending me the 2.0GHz, 15.4", with the ram upgraded to a gig, do these seem to have all the rattles worked out?
The problems I have had with the macbook were:
1st machine (blackbook week 20), developed random shutdown after 2 months of use. First Repair: logic board replacement, RSS returned: Logic Board Replacement, RSS returned: Heat sink assembly replaced , RSS returned: Replacement Machine.
2nd machine (Blackbook week 32), received September 6th, RSS started today (4 occurences).
Thank you for any insight you may have.
