tommorow I'm going to purchase a macbook, now I know there is a tric to define the week your macbook was made from the serial on the box or bellow the battery. I just don't know shat number it actually is, nor which is the current week? By that I mean the latest week, llike if I would order one now from the online store, what serial number will it have?

Well that depends on Apple's stock on hand, If you are worried about it goto the local CompUSA or Apple Retail Store so that you can see the box before you buy it, I have done the same thing and the guy at CompUSA was happy to show me all the boxes and let me pick the latest one.

The forth and fifth number represent the week. For example, if your serial number is 4H629XXXXX, it will mean that your MacBook is made on week 29. I am not sure what build the current week will be.
