estimated ship dates vs real dates (Page 2)

My original arrival date was the 14th of Nov. but I got my 15" C2D mbp on Monday the 6th. 8 days early. I ordered the standard 2.16ghz model but with the glossy screen and 160gb hard drive.

Why does it take so long to ship from the Netherlands to Switzerland?

Some mbp are shipping, some are delayed. Mine is delayed:
- Ordered 10/30/06: mpb 15", 2GB RAM, 120 GB HD
- estimated shipping 11/7/06.
- new estimated shipping: 11/27/06.
and I needed NOW, because the last time I checked Disc Utility tells me that the SMART STATUS of my 12" PB G4 hard drive is FAILING!!!!!

Not sure if you're got a BTO or a standard config, i'm guessing you're not close to an Apple Retail Store? If you can't wait, the drive to a Retail Store might be the answer.
