I am now using a Dell monitor, keyboard, and mouse when I am home with my MBP. When I leave the MBP on and turn on mirroring, I like the resolution on the Dell. I just turn the MBP screen contrast all the way down. When I close the lid, the resolution is too low for my liking on the Dell.
I'd like to be able to close the lid as far as possible without putting the MBP to sleep. Are there like rubber stoppers I can use for this since it closes by itself when its low enough? But it cannot be permenant. I have seen these at the Apple store on thier Genius Bar laptops, but I think those are meant to stay on. If not, I could prob find something at Home Depot.
