hi all,
so my MBP C2D just arrived. After playing with it for a while i notice that each time i start or wake it up, i hear a sound come from somewhere over the CD slot. The sound is similar to the sound of a windows computer when it starts reading a CD.
may be im just being paranoid, but i wonder if this thing is normal?
thanks for any comments

It's normal, my iBook and all of the other recent Apple (Intel or not) laptops I've used have done it. IDK exactly what it is but it just makes a sound as if its reading or ejecting or something. No worries.
