I have a 2.16 Rev A MBP. Everyone keeps saying how fast the new 2.33 is. Is it worth upgrading to the new 2.33 over my present one?

There are some benchmarks for you along with a temperature comparison. If you need every bit of speed and want it to feel cooler on your lap, then it might be worthwhile for you. Otherwise I'd save your money.

That small of a difference in performance is rarely ever worth the lost money. I would think your 2.16 rev A is good for at least a couple more years.

The 2.33 seems a lot faster than my old 1.67 G4, but man, a 2.16 to 2.33 doesn't seem like that much of an upgrade. I'd wait at least until the Santa Rosa platform is out in April or May.
