I actually bought this PowerBook 2 years ago with dual display in mind, I just didn't have the means to do it til now.
It's 1.33GHz version, and I upgraded the ram to 1.25Gb, not that it matters.
I just wanted to know how what kind of resolution my PowerBook can support for the dual display setup before I swipe my credit card.
I'm planning to get a widescreen 20" with 1680x1050 resolution, but I've been able to find 24" with 1920x1200 resolution for a very decent price. I think I've been told somewhere, sometime ago that my PowerBook can support 1680x1050 dual display, but I wasn't too sure about 1920x1200. Also a friend of mine told me that when he switched over from 17" to a 24" his fps for games dropped considerably. I don't play games, I'll be using it mostly for InDesign and Illustrator. Would it be a problem for me? I'm a dummy in tech sense.
I just checked the system profiler and it reads nVIDIA GeForce FX Go5200 AGP 64MB for Graphics/Display portion.
