They require IE, or Opera, Mozilla, etc.

Safari is my browser, so....I purchased a Mac for this irritation?

Well, if it says you can use Opera or Mozilla (Camino, in Mac speak), then why don't you use Safari to download one or both? They're both free. I prefer Camino to Safari anyway.

Also, this doesn't really seem like the proper forum for this particular question since it doesn't relate to iBooks/Macbooks, but is an application question.

Google how to access the Safari debug menu and switch it to report that you're using Mozilla or another "compliant" browser...it's easier than switching browsers, to be sure.

You can't blame things like that on Apple. It's the fault of the website's creator.

Mistake noted, will post in the proper forum from now on.

Not really blaming apple, just was a little frustrated. I didn't realize I could download another browser...that should solve my problem.
